Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy
All relationships have their ups and downs. When the downs outweigh the ups, couples may benefit from therapy.  The goal of Affinity couples’ therapy is to give couples the strategies they need to treat each other with more respect, empathy, and love. We understand the often complicated dynamics of relationships and pride ourselves in offering the very best counseling. We follow Dr. Gottman, IMAGEO therapy, and many others. If you feel that weekly counseling may not be enough we also offer weekend intensives. These intensives are one on one with Jessica Belisle, LMFT, LAC for 3-5 days depending on your needs. The intensives are held either in the office or at a private location. These intensives dive deep into the relationship, offer more assistance with communication and conflict resolution, repair old hurts and wounds, and restore hope. Jessica will also continue to provide you with weekly or bi-weekly appointments either in person or via video after the intensives.  **It is not possible to engage in couple’s therapy when there is ongoing intimate partner violence.
Common relationship concerns we work with are:
  • Excessive arguing
  • Losing connection
  • Life stage changes
  • Distrust
  • Affair recovery
  • Considering divorce
